Please read carefully the following terms & conditions.

Easter Giveaway

These Terms and Conditions govern your participation in the “Eastern Giveaway” (the Promotion) promoted by Compleet IS Services Ltd (the Promoter). By participating in this Promotion, each entrant agrees to be bound by the following terms:

1. Promotion Description

  • The Promotion invites participants to guess the number of balls inside a kitchen helper machine bowl displayed at our Msida outlet.
  • Participants may visit the outlet to visually inspect the machine but are not allowed to touch, open, or interact with the contents of the bowl in any way.
  • The guess must be submitted as a comment on the official giveaway post on the AtoZ Electronics Facebook page.

2. Eligibility

To participate in this Promotion, you must meet all the following criteria:

  • Be a resident of Malta.
  • Be 18 years of age or older at the time of participation.
  • Hold a valid Maltese Identity Card (to be presented if selected as the winner).
  • Have a public Facebook profile that is clearly identifiable as a personal profile. Contest-only profiles, fake profiles, or profiles with suspicious activity may be disqualified at the sole discretion of the organiser.
  • Be a follower of AtoZ Electronics on Facebook.
  • Not be an employee of Compleet IS Services Ltd. or any of its affiliates, nor be an immediate or extended family member up to the second degree of consanguinity (parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and first cousins).

3. How to Participate

  • View the bowl and make a guess of the total number of balls inside.
  • Submit your guess as a comment on the official giveaway post published on AtoZ Electronics’ Facebook page.
  • Only one entry per person is allowed. In cases where multiple comments or guesses are submitted from the same Facebook profile, only the most recent guess will be considered valid for the contest.
  • By participating, entrants acknowledge and accept that any previous guesses will be automatically invalidated once a new guess is submitted, even if an earlier guess would have been correct or a qualifying closest lower guess. The most recent comment overrides all previous entries, regardless of accuracy.
  • Entries must be posted before the contest deadline as indicated on the official post.

4. Winner Selection

  • The winner will be the participant who guesses the exact number of balls, or if no one guesses correctly, the one with the closest lower guess without exceeding the actual number.
  • In the event of a tie (multiple participants with the same correct or closest lower guess), a random draw will determine the winner among the tied entries.
  • The winner will be announced on AtoZ Electronics’ Facebook page and contacted via private message. If the winner does not respond within 72 hours, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the next eligible participant.

5. Prize Collection

The winner must present themselves in person at the designated AtoZ Electronics outlet, bringing their physical Maltese ID card for verification.

A photo of the winner receiving the prize will be taken. The winner must sign a Media Release Form granting Compleet IS Services Ltd. the right to use their name, likeness, and images for promotional and advertising purposes across all media platforms, with no additional compensation required.

6. General Rules

The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other products/services.

Compleet IS Services Ltd. reserves the right to:

  • Verify the identity and eligibility of any participant.
  • Disqualify any entry that is incomplete, inappropriate, fraudulent, or otherwise violates these Terms.
  • Cancel, amend, or suspend the Promotion at any time if deemed necessary due to circumstances beyond its control.
  • By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Compleet IS Services Ltd. and its employees from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of participation in the Promotion or the acceptance/use of the prize.
  • This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook. By entering, participants agree to release Facebook from all liability in connection with the Promotion.

General Terms & Conditions


The following terms apply to all our contests and/or giveaways:

The promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend any contest or giveaway should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond the control of the promoter corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of it. In such case, the promoter may select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken;

The promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the contest/giveaway or website or violates the Terms & Conditions;

The promoter has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Campaign, to void votes for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by the contest or giveaway rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the contest or giveaway may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, The promoter reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law;

To claim the prize, the winner will need to fulfill all the requirements on the present terms and conditions including the release of use of their personal image and details;

Failure to comply with any of the conditions of the competition will result in the prize being withdrawn;

The Promoter reserves the right to deem ineligible any entrant who refuses or is unable to comply with the conditions to receive the prize at its sole discretion;

No responsibility will be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason;

The profile used to participate must be a real personal profile. Instagram profiles that can be deemed as or suspected to be bots and/or fake profiles will not be eligible. Private profiles are not eligible to enter the contest/giveaway as we will be unable to contact the user or verify that they have completed the required actions;

The comments posted must be under the Instagram Community Standards. The promoter reserves the right to remove any comments where the comment posted is deemed inappropriate, as well as to disqualify the participant based on violation of the aforementioned rules.

Limitation of Liability

By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless the promoter and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from:

(i) such entrant’s participation in the contest or giveaway and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof;

(ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment;

(iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service;

(iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the contest or giveaway;

(v) electronic or human error in the administration of the contest or giveaway or the processing of entries.


Disputes

The contest or giveaway IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF Malta, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in the contest or giveaway, the participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the contest or giveaway, shall be resolved individually, without resorting to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Malta having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall the participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than the participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering the contest or giveaway). Participants further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
