We make no warranty that the Website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy, reliability of the Website. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all images, details, descriptions, and prices of Products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the information was entered into the system. The images shown are for reference purposes only. Actual items may look different or differ.

Although we aim to keep the Website as up-to-date as possible, the information including Product Descriptions appearing on this Website at a particular time may not always reflect the exact position at the moment you place an order. We cannot confirm the price of a Product until your order is accepted in accordance with our Order acceptance policy.

For online orders availability will be confirmed by a return e-mail from one of our salespersons.

For arriving products and products that can be pre-ordered displaying an estimated date of arrival, the date is only for indication purposes and stock arrival will only be confirmed once stock is in our warehouse.

Malta – Express Same Day Deliveries:

Orders must be confirmed by 15:00 – €4.90: for small, medium and large items, such as TVs up to 55″, large printers, small appliances, refrigerators up to 90 litres, spin dryers, gaming chairs, water heaters up to 50 litres.

Orders must be confirmed by 13:00 – €14.90: for very large items up to 50Kg, such as TVs up to 83″, large appliances, built-in appliances, refrigerators up to 350 litres, all network cabinets, all water heaters.

• Some specific products may not be eligible for Express Same Day delivery. Please chat with us​​ to check your order’s eligibility for Express Same Day delivery. Final eligibility depends on product size, weight, delivery location and access conditions.

Malta – Next Business Day Deliveries:

• Available for items that are verified in stock and fully paid up.
• This is subject to space availability and appointments, particularly during high-demand periods.
• Free for orders with a minimum value of €50.00 or at a fee of €4.90 for orders under €50.00.

Malta – Standard Deliveries:

• Items that are verified in stock are delivered within 1-3 business days, subject to space availability and appointments, particularly during high-demand periods.
• Free for orders with a minimum value of €50.00 or at a fee of €4.90 for orders under €50.00.

Gozo – Standard Deliveries:

• We deliver appliances to Gozo and, where applicable, provide appliance connection services.
• Items that are verified in stock are normally delivered every Wednesday (schedule may vary especially due to Public Holidays), subject to unforeseen circumstances, space availability and appointments, particularly during high-demand periods.
• Free for orders with a minimum value of €50.00 or at a fee of €4.90 for orders under €50.00.
• Orders must be confirmed by Tuesday at 12:00 noon.
• Express Same Day and Next Business Day delivery are not available for Gozo.

In-Store Pick-up:

• Orders that will be picked up from our stores are processed as early as possible.
• One of our sales representatives will contact you once your order is ready, normally within the same day between Monday and Friday (excluding Public Holidays).
• Please note that online orders cannot be claimed from our outlets until one of our sales representatives will contact you to inform you that your order is ready for collection.

Appliances:

• We deliver appliances and, where applicable and safe to do so, connect them to existing, accessible and suitable electrical and/or water connections. This does not include plumbing works, electrical works, carpentry, furniture fitting, drilling, gas connections, or rectification of unsuitable existing connections.
• For built-in appliances, our service is limited to connecting the appliance to existing suitable electrical and/or water connections. We do not remove, install, modify or repair any kitchen furniture, worktops, cabinet doors, hinges, panels, plinths or ventilation openings.

Deliveries not to ground floor:

• Deliveries are made to ground floor level and do not include lifter services/charges.
• Delivery to upper floors is included only where a suitable lift is available and the product can be safely transported without special equipment. Where a suitable lift is not available, additional charges and/or third-party lifter services may be required.
• When required, we can help in arranging for third-party lifter services. Such services are to be paid directly to the lifter service provider. The customer is responsible for parking permits and fees.
• Deliveries not to ground floor where a suitable lift or lifter cannot be used carry an additional fee. These can be quoted for prior to order confirmation or when setting the delivery date.

General Conditions on Deliveries:

• Deliveries are processed and available for Malta & Gozo between Monday and Friday (excluding public holidays). Orders received on weekends and public holidays are accepted and processed on the next business day.
• An order is considered confirmed only once stock has been verified as physically available in our warehouse or designated outlet, and we have accepted and scheduled the delivery.
• Delivery times are indicative and may vary due to route planning, traffic, access issues, weather, ferry disruptions, previous delivery delays, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
• Deliveries do not include installation unless otherwise stated elsewhere. Installation services can be provided at a fee, if required. This will be quoted upon request, at the time of ordering.
• The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery path is clear and safe, that the item fits through doors, staircases, corridors and lifts, that parking and access are available, that old appliances or furniture are removed where necessary, and that electrical and/or water connections are ready, accessible and safe.
• If delivery cannot be completed due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as lack of access, incorrect delivery details, unsafe site conditions, the customer not being available, or the product not fitting through the delivery path, delivery may need to be rescheduled and a reasonable re-delivery fee may apply.
• If you use the “Buy Now” button, your order includes standard ground floor delivery with no add-on services. If you need special handling please contact our Customer Care Team before delivery.
• For deliveries of products under promotional offers, please refer to the specific Terms & Conditions related to the offer.

• Orders with in-store pickup can be paid for by Cash, Cheques, Debit Cards, major Credit Cards, BOV Mobile Pay, AtoZ Electronics Gift Vouchers and One4All Vouchers.

• Delivered orders can be settled in Cash, Cheques, Debit Cards, major Credit Cards, BOV Mobile Pay and Bank Transfer.

• Orders for Express Same Day Deliveries and Next Business Day Deliveries can be fully paid up online via Debit Cards, major Credit Cards, PayPal or BOV Mobile Pay.

Conditions of use for discount codes:

At AtoZ Electronics, we have a technical service centre which offers over the phone assistance and handles all warranties for products purchased from us free of charge with no additional shipping or other charges when sending back any faulty items. This level of service is not available from other suppliers operating on a different business model e.g. internet-based companies, mail-order companies, auction sites, factory outlets, duty-free shops, market stalls, home shopping channels or competitors who are in administration or closing down. Such companies do not normally directly handle after sales service and would require you to send products to third parties incurring extra costs including shipping costs. Such companies are not deemed equivalent Retail Store competitors. However, we would still try our very best to match the price as much as possible, but may not be able to guarantee a price match.

Where goods have been ordered remotely you have fourteen (14) days, from obtaining physical possession of the goods, to cancel the purchase subject to the following conditions:

• You informed us of your intention to cancel the purchase by sending a written request, stating the product, order reference, date of purchase, date of delivery or collection, client name, and client address or by sending us a duly filled – “Right of Withdrawal Form”.

General

• The guarantee will only be valid on the presentation of a valid proof of purchase and the original packaging, including manuals and other relevant package contents, which must be shown when requiring service under the legal guarantee. Not showing the mentioned documents, packaging, or manuals may delay or void the warranty.
• All products carry the 2-year EU and Maltese legal guarantee
• Commercial/business purchases (invoices/cash purchases with a VAT number and purchases for commercial or business purposes) are only covered by the product’s respective Manufacturer’s guarantee period, if any, and by the mandatory guarantees for their respective classification according to law.
• The repair of a product under the terms of this guarantee does not give rise to a new guarantee period. However, you are entitled to a guarantee period extension equal to the number of days starting from when the product is brought into our Service Centre and the day we notify you of the product being repaired.

Your responsibilities

It is your responsibility to:

• Inspect your product for any physical damage upon collection or delivery is advisable.  When goods are delivered by post or courier, it is advisable to notify us of any physical damage the earliest possible, ideally within 24 hours of receipt.
• Install and use the product in accordance with the manufacturer’s manual. It is your responsibility to consult the manual.
• Ensure compatibility of the product with the desired purpose and other components or products within your system or setup.
• Check with the Company before carrying out any repairs, updates, works, or alterations on the product as this might void the warranty.

How does it work?

During the guarantee period, if your product develops a fault that needs to be repaired, look for visible signs of the breakdown and consult the troubleshooting guide in the manufacturer’s handbook, if any.

If that does not resolve the issue, please contact our Service Centre and talk to one of our representatives.

You will need to provide us with details of your item, including the model number and date of purchase. You can find this information on our original receipt/invoice/cash sale – this acts as your guarantee, so please make sure you keep it safe.

The guarantee is on a “Return to base” basis. This applies for both Malta and Gozo. You are kindly requested to bring in any product/s which is/are suspected to be faulty to our workshop for inspection by our technicians. We can offer on-site inspection for large appliances, nevertheless, if the fault does not result from a manufacturing defect or if the fault is not covered, as established under the legal guarantee, a fee of €45 will be charged. On-site calls to Gozo will carry a Ferry Fee and a Gozo Surcharge.

Collection and delivery can be arranged for a nominal fee. Collections and deliveries to Gozo will carry a Ferry and Gozo Surcharge. Deliveries and collections to Gozo are scheduled for the next available working Wednesday following your request.

What does the legal guarantee cover?

The Legal Guarantee provides full cover against manufacturing defects that surface through normal use. This means that if a manufacturing defect becomes apparent during the guarantee period, we will attempt to repair your product free of charge, including all parts and or labour.

Depending on the type of defect and product, the Company may repair the product.

If we cannot repair your item, we will replace it with an item of equivalent or better specifications or provide other remedies according to law. Any replacement product may be either new or like new, provided that it has functionality at least equal to the product being replaced.

The Company will claim ownership of all defective components which may be replaced and may use various vendors’ components for the repair of the product as required.

Where none of the above options is possible, the Company will reimburse you for the maximum value of the purchase price.

Limitations of liability

The Company only guarantees the product for its functionality under normal use as defined in the manufacturer’s manual, which may be found in the manufacturer’s website. The Company does not guarantee that the product is fit for any particular purpose. 

In no event shall the Company be liable for impossibility to use the product, direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential loss or damage to any person or property. In any case, the liability of the Company in relation to the product shall not exceed the price paid by the consumer to purchase the product.

What’s not included?

These are some specific exclusions from warranties:

Improper use of product including:

• Deliberate damage or neglect of the product.
• Incompatibility with other products, parts, peripherals, software or consumables.
• Printers used with non-original cartridges/toners and/or any other consumable part during any part of the warranty period.
• Image ghosting or screen burn. These can appear on a screen that’s left operating for a prolonged period with either a still image or a channel constantly displaying a logo or image in same screen position.
• Digital television picture affected by any of the following: a misaligned or unsuitable aerial, climatic conditions, geographic location, poor quality or low strength broadcast signal.
• Water heaters or other products connected directly to water mains or a pressure pump.

Defects arising after date of purchase including defects caused by:

• External factors such as viruses, faulty/incompatible software, fire, theft, humidity, water spillages, weather (including lightning strike).
• Accidental damage, for example if your item has been dropped. However, you may find that this type of damage may be covered by the insurance policy covering the contents of your household/premises, if any.
• Defects caused by the use of the product in spaces with direct contact with excessive moisture that causes damage to electronics.
• Any damage or malfunction caused by any software or update subsequently installed in the product after the date of purchase.
• Defects caused by unprofessional installation, repair, alteration or modification of the product.
• Generally, any defect which was not present at the date of purchase of the product.

Defects arising from lack of maintenance including:

• Not unblocking drainage channels in refrigeration or washing equipment or any other equipment using drainage channels.
• Lack of servicing, inspecting, cleaning of the product and failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions and/or installation guidelines
• Other Exclusions
• Products with serial number label defaced, modified or removed.

Also not included:

• Pixel spots (tiny dark or bright spots that may become visible on a screen) are only covered as per ISO standards.
• Consumables or parts requiring replacement due to wear and tear such as batteries, ink cartridges, storage media, projector bulbs, fuses, light bulbs, charging ports, keyboards, mice, touchpads, etc.
• Cosmetic conditions such as cabinet trim, scratches, dents, rust, corrosion or colour changes where the function of the product is unaffected.
• Consequential and external losses or damages arising from defects in the product (example frozen food in a refrigerator).
• Data loss: It is your responsibility to back-up your data before bringing a product to our Service Centre. The Company will not be responsible for any data loss including damage or loss of any programs, documents, photos and any other type of data or other information stored in the device, which may be damaged or altered during repair. Should a service require your product to be reformatted to factory settings, we will not be responsible for any lost data. 
• You are authorising us to accept software end-user license agreements on your behalf as necessary to complete the repair; to this end we will use the personal information you have provided to us in connection with this service.

Commercial Warranty

AtoZ Electronics also offers an extended commercial warranty on selected products.
This warranty does not limit or affect your legal statutory rights.

A minimum inspection fee is incurred if:

• The product is found to be working as it should.
• The product is found to be out of warranty.
• The defect is listed in the exclusions above.
• You choose not to proceed with out-of-warranty repairs.

AC installation:

Standard AC installations cover/include:

• drilling of 2 holes up to 50cm in a single or double modern wall of limestone and/or bricks
• copper pipes, drain pipes and electrical wiring up to 4 metres
• carrying units up to 2 flights of stairs

Standard AC installations do not cover/include:

• the preparation and costs of permits, if required
• the need for scaffolding/cranes/high-ups/lifters
• carrying units up more than 2 flights of stairs
• drilling of more than 2 holes
• drilling of walls that are wider than double walls and/or wider than 50 cm
• drilling of reinforced concrete, marble, granite, ceramic tiles or old walls
• trenching of walls
• PVC covering (trunking) for the copper, drain pipe and wires
• plastering to cover holes and trenches prepared during the installation
• copper or drain pipes longer than 4 metres
• the preparation of electrical points (electrical points need to be easily accessible)
• the need for more than 2 persons working on an installation
• moving/removing furniture or anything that is blocking the installation area
• removal & disposal of old units
• working in an unsafe environment
• (installers reserve the right to cancel an installation which is deemed as unsafe or dangerous)

Disputes

THIS Campaign IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF Malta, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Campaign, the participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Campaign, shall be resolved individually, without resorting to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Malta having jurisdiction.
